Sample Accounts Payable Questions Enterprise Edition
Although it is not possible to display all of the 4,000+ questions asked of each vendor, we have displayed below all of the questions in Accounts Payable. The questions displayed can be found only in the Enterprise and Modifiable Editions.
The Accounting Library uses two conventions to help users define their requirements. The analysis program supports a numerical response of 0-9 with 0 representing no interest whatsoever, while 9 is reserved only for those requirements of critical importance. If a product does not meet even one of these critical requirements, it will be eliminated from the analysis. Obviously users need to be very careful when utilizing this powerful differentiator.
The printed needs definition forms use this numerical convention as well as the concept of Low, Moderate and High. Rather than having to split hairs over whether a feature should be represented by a 5 or 6, users can use the check boxes as represented in the form below (checklists for the other areas of Accounts Payable can be found on following pages). Then a single number can be assigned to each level (2,5 and 7 or any other convention that makes sense to the user). While only three of ten possible numbers (0-9) are being utilized, this simplified approach will not drastically affect the validity of the analysis.
