If you are interested in a straight side-by-side comparison of two or more of the 100+ products in our database, you have two options.
On-Line Edition
Once you have created your profile, you can select the Compare Products Side-by-Side option. You can then select two products to compare side-by-side using the features list in the On-Line Edition. This report is free.

CD-Based Edition

These are very detailed reports covering all of the 3,700 features we track in our database. In most instances these reports can be delivered to your e-mail box within an hour.

These reports are derived from our industry-leading, award winning accounting software selection tool, The Accounting Library, without you having to purchase the entire program! There are two different reports we can generate for you. The Product Report
will contain any number of products in which you have an interest (the sample below contains five products). It will also contain a listing of all of the features we track making this one of the most comprehensive reports available on the market.
The Comparative Report
contains only two products and is designed to show the functional strengths of one product and the weaknesses of a second product. Of the 3,500+ features we track in our database, we list only those where the response for the Base Product is Yes (the requirement can be met in the core business management system) and the response for the Target Product is anything other than Yes.
We actually give vendors the ability to utilize eight different responses as follows:
- Y - Yes (the feature is in the core business management system)
- N - No (the requirement cannot be met by the system)
- T - Third Party Product (the requirement can be met by using a Third Party Product)
- R - Report Writer (the report can be generated only by using a Report Writer)
- F - Future Release (the feature will be available within 12 months)
- A - Added Field (the information can be tracked by adding a field to the database)
- C - Customization (the feature can be added by a relatively simple customization)
- M - Modification (the feature can be added but only by relatively complex modification)
The cost of each report is very modest. The Product Report with the first two products and the Comparative Report are only $50. The Product Report with up to five products is $90 and $120 for 6 - 10 products. Call us. We would be pleased to send you this detailed functional information.
